During my pregnancy I was told I was going to have twins. I was in for a real shock at the time. It can not be! After all, the eldest girl is already ten years old. We wanted one after the other, and this way two at the same time. I had to put up with it. Okay.
Every time I asked the doctor in the outpatient clinic to listen more attentively, in case something was wrong, if both of them were moving. But the doctors said everything was fine.
Everything happened on my birthday. We decided to celebrate, we invited my parents. Even my sisters. Everybody got together. We ate, I lay down, even helped to wash the dishes. They gave me the command to rest. I went and rested. But in the morning I went into labor. I woke up my husband and told him to drive me to the hospital. What a birthday present! I told the doctors that I had two children, so there were two doctors too. They delivered my baby and left.
Suddenly I yelled: “Wait a minute,” and it was so loud it made the walls shake. The doctors rushed back with both babies. They didn’t understand what I wanted them to do, and then they guessed that there was a third. What is it?
When I had finally given birth to all of them, they handed me the phone and said:
“Just wait, take your time, you’re in a state of shock, think every word through.”
They started dictating my speech to me. I dialed my husband and said, “Honey, are you on the road? If so, slow down. – My husband replied that he was already home. Then I continued, “You better sit down. I have already given birth. – He got excited, asked who, and I said, “Two sons and a sweet little girl.” – After a moment’s silence, he laughed and said, “Where there are two, there are three.”
Afterwards, when they brought me my babies, I was just happy. After all, so many babies at once … There is not much happiness!
