I have always loved children very much, and ever since childhood I knew that as soon as I grew up, I would definitely take care of children. So I ended up choosing a job as a nanny. And why not?! Children are such a joy, and even greater joy is that you can raise a wonderful person.
One day I had a bad experience at work. Looking for work, I went to an agency that dealt with the placement of the nannies. I did not have to wait long. Even at the interview in the agency I noticed that the manager liked me a lot and just a day later I got a call from the parents of Sasha, who was a year and a half old. We had a nice talk and they invited me to come the next day to meet the baby.
As soon as I entered the apartment and Sasha saw me, she immediately wanted to hold me in her arms. The child liked me so much – at that moment her mom had no doubts that I was worth taking as a nanny. The most important thing is that the child likes the person.
I didn’t ask any questions about child care – after all, I had a lot of experience, and what could be so special about caring for such a small child – everything is clear. That day Sasha and I had a great time and I went back to my place.
In the middle of the night I got a call from Sasha’s mother.
-Elena, did you wash the baby with soap?
– Well, yes, it was in the bathroom. – The mother hung up. As it turned out, Sasha was allergic to soap. I didn’t ask, and his parents didn’t tell me. Fortunately, the baby is fine, and it did not affect her health. But now I understand that every little thing is important, every little thing. I wasn’t fired then, Sasha’s mother is a very intelligent and cultured woman – we found common ground with her again.
