They followed the noise and discovered a four-month-old kitten, malnourished and covered in fleas.
“He was trying to crawl underneath a car for warmth,” Jenny Devino said.

The couple took the cat home with them, fed him and gave him water. They named him ‘Alley.’ The next day they took Alley to the vet where he received medication for his fleas and worms, as well as all of his shots.
The group lifted up the dumpster lid and saw a small, dirty kitten pawing at the garbage.
“Ugh, it was so gross!” Jenny exclaimed. “But we couldn’t just leave it there – especially since it was meowing for help. We all took turns reaching into the trash to pull out the kitten. It was really scared and squirming around, but we got it out in one piece.”

Jim, Brad, Tim, Dylan, and Roy were among the first to arrive to assist. They brought tools to open the lock with them. Jenny dashed to the container as soon as they were able to unlock the latch.
The terrified kitten, on the other hand, jumped out of the container and hid behind a nearby vehicle.

Yes, it is safe now. The baby has been removed from the car’s engine and is no longer in danger.
The kitten was wrapped in the T-shirt and its head was rubbed until it purred. The experience was still scary, but it was also warm and lovely. This story is about Phil, the baby who experienced this event.
Aid agencies are currently providing aid to the kitten and its new friends.
