A cat who has been living on the streets for years finally finds a family to warm its heart…

While many people enjoy the winter season, it can be a very difficult time for stray cats. The weather is cold and often wet, making it hard for them to find food or shelter. Additionally, Christmas trees and other holiday decorations pose a danger to these cats as they can easily get entangled in strings of lights ornaments, and tinsel. Without help from kind-hearted individuals, many homeless cats may not survive the winter season.

Padou is a very lucky cat, however, as he was finally rescued by the Montreal SPCA and brought to one of its shelters. There, Padou began to receive the care that he desperately needed; fortunately for him, there are many kind-hearted people at the shelter who were more than happy to give this little guy all the love and attention that he deserves.

Nowadays, Padou loves spending his time cuddling with his caregivers – it’s clear that this sweet kitty has finally found his forever home!

Slowly but surely, Padou’s trust in humans was restored. Aya nursed him back to health and he soon became one of the happiest cats on earth!

With the help of a foster volunteer, Padou was soon on his way to better health and living in a warm home with plenty of food and love. He recovered so quickly that he even managed to find his very own feline friend named Tigrou at the rescue group. What’s more, thanks to Chatons Orphelins Montréal, Aya was also able to connect with other cat lovers who were willing to help her care for multiple cats in her home—a huge relief!

What was the outcome of Padou’s rescue?

Rescuers were able to bring him to a foster home, where he began the process of rehabilitation. It doesn’t take long for the tabby cat to adjust to his new surroundings, and he is ready
