It is unclear how or when this mailman and German Shepherd became friends, but it’s evident that they genuinely enjoy one another’s company. The mailman always takes the time to stop and say hello to his furry friend, even if he’s in a hurry! Sometimes they play together; other times they just sit around and relax. It really warms our hearts to see such an unlikely friendship thrive! The postman, Alan delivery mail to the Collins’ home every day and he always stops to pet the dog. It’s a friendly gesture that the pup apparently looks forward to.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw it,” Collins told TODAY. “My wife was away at work, so I set up a hidden camera in the living room just to see what he does when she’s not around.”
The owner continued:
“This mailman never fails to put a smile on my face and I just wanted to say THANK YOU for being so kind, even when the odds are stacked against you. You rock! :)”
