Skoda was going through a tough time, as she was dealing with the loss of her husband. She wasn’t getting out of bed, or taking care of herself and most importantly not taking care of her kids. One day FedEx knocked on her door with a package for her late husband. The delivery guy noticed that Skoda looked like she could use some help so he offered to take the package inside for her.
Inside the box there were flowers from one of Skoda’s friends, who knew how much joy they would bring to her in this difficult time. This small act brightened up Skoda’s day and gave her some hope that everything will be okay someday.
A few days later, Leigh Ann was out in her yard trying to cut the lawn when she heard a knock at her door. She answered it to find Brian with a weed whacker and edger in hand, ready to help out. Since then, Brian has been coming by every week to do some work around the house for Leigh Ann – whether it’s mowing the lawn, doing the grocery shopping, or just checking in on her. He even takes care of her kids when she needs him to!
Leigh Ann says that “Brian is an angel from God” and that she doesn’t know what she would do without him.
