The crabs were huge and came out of nowhere. They started to swarm the food and there was nothing anyone could do to stop them. The little creatures were fearless and didn’t mind getting their claws dirty. In fact, they seemed to enjoy it!
Some people managed to take a few quick photos before running away in terror, while others just gave up all hope of having ANYTHING resembling a picnic lunch. It looked like the hungry crustaceans had won this battle, but hopefully everyone can still have a good time on Christmas Island despite these unwelcome guests!
