The moment Duffy spots his family for the first time, he can’t help but to sprint towards them with pure joy! He wags his tail nonstop and showers everyone in kisses – it’s clear that he is so grateful to finally be able to see the people who have always been there for him. What a beautiful reunion!
Despite all these difficulties, Duffy never stopped wagging his tail and being happy. Benjamin May documented this dog’s story on Instagram with the account @irishterrierduffy, where he has managed to gather a following of over 45 thousand people. The pictures depict Duffy’s extremely positive demeanour in the face of all the struggles and adversities that life threw at him – from eating alone to visits to the vet.
“The vet put him on a special diet and now he is doing so much better! He still has moments where he forgets who I am, but for the most part, he knows who I am and loves me. It just goes to show you how important it is to take your pets to the vet regularly – even if they seem healthy.”
Now Duffy is a happy, healthy dog who loves to play and explore just like any other pup. Benjamin couldn’t be more proud of his furry best friend!
