The dog, named Rex, had been chained to a tree his entire life until he was recently rescued by the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The shelter workers were so moved by Rex’s story that they decided to buy him his own bed and when they brought it into his new home, he could not have been more excited!
Rex cannot stop wagging his tail and jumping around in excitement as he finally gets to lay down on his very own bed. It is clear how happy this innocent pup is now that he is free from chains and can enjoy some much-needed TLC.
After Stevie was brought to the shelter, he received round-the-clock care. Volunteers spent time playing with him and giving him lots of love. Slowly but surely, Stevie’s eyes started to get better!

Stevie’s transformation is incredible! And the best thing, he has now been adopted by a loving family, who will never let him go through such horrors again. The whole story just goes to show that there really is always hope – no matter how dire things may seem at first.
After some time, Lenny warmed up to his new family and they were finally able to let him out of his crate. This adorable pup is now thriving in his new home with plenty of love and attention.
This is the moment Stevie realizes he now has his own, warm and comfortable bed to sleep in. What a happy dog!
