Cosmo was forced to live on the streets because his previous owner didn’t want him anymore. He spent all day scavenging for food and trying to find a warm place to rest, despite being severely underweight and malnourished. Thankfully, one kind-hearted person eventually noticed Cosmo’s plight and took him in, nursing him back to health.
Jayne wasn’t expecting what Cosmo did when they were getting ready to leave. She was filming the moment on her phone as Cosmo followed them out and then stopped at the door of the shelter, looking back as though he wanted to go back in.
It broke Jayne’s heart to see him like that, so she decided right there and then that she would take him with her. And fortunately for Cosmo, his new mommy also has a big heart!
Wagging his tail in pure happiness, Cosmo was so excited to be there that he couldn’t stop jumping around and licking everyone’s face.
It was clear from the beginning that this dog would fit right into the family and make them complete.
We are so glad that Cosmo found his perfect home and can now enjoy all the love, care and belly rubs he deserves!
